Case in Point

Modular Access Systems approached us for a public marketing site and has grown into a family of eCommerce sites integrated with their in-house accounting system. MAS sells high cost fall protection systems to Fortune 500 industrial companies. Exposure in this market is key in finding leads on new projects. We developed smaller sites, selling supplies online to the departments that purchase MAS’s fall protection equipment, automatically posting the transactions in the MAS accounting, and processing the delivery of the supplies to the customer from the distributors. Their system then processes these customers as leads in a Customer Relationship Management system sales workflow, trying to convert the purchases of the smaller items into opportunities of the larger projects.

MOR PPM is a supplier of industrial craft labor. We used their public site not only to market to customers, but also to potential employees. MOR PPM contracts are time sensitive and they must maintain a national labor pool to handle contracts anywhere in the country. Their site allows users to complete an employment application, define their craft labor skills and experience, and upload a resume. Human resources have administrative access to reports, applications, and job postings.

Uniway of the Carolinas is a membership direct buying club where we have supported and developed in-house service center software. We developed a public site integrating clips from Uniway’s infomercials and multi-media. This site also includes integration with their membership database on their in-house server. User membership status is verified from the web server against a web service on the internal corporate database. This project gave us the opportunity to develop Uniway’s corporate site that umbrellas’ their franchises. Some key features include management module that map membership addresses geographically by franchise territory. Each of these sites demonstrate our ability to develop a web friendly site, database management and dynamic content; client-side scripting, SOAP calls via web services, visually pleasing interfaces, and secure connections between various systems.
